db DataCleaner is specifically designed to improve the quality of your measurement data. It can be used for any kind of data but is particularly well suited for analog signals where noise is more or less always present. Noise and spikes can cause many problems in computer aided black box modelling. Since the models try to adapt to these artificial effects it will reduce their stability and accuracy.

db DataCleaner uses Fourier analysis to determine the noise frequency and amplitude in the data. It then performs a noise reduction using wavelet analysis. The resulting signal may still contain artificial spikes. These are identified by a second fourier analysis that acts as a low pass filter. db DataCleaner includes a manual mode in case the user prefers different settings of the noise or spike reduction strength.

db DataCleaner uses the stylish MS Office 2007 look and has an interface with MS Excel to read and write data signals.
